...since we got a call from our agency that they had a possible referral for us. Our agency rep said he would send an email with pictures & medical info. We stayed on the phone with him waiting
not-so-patiently patiently. She was 17 months old but her pictures were from much younger.
We had 24 hours to decide if this was our daughter. There was some conflicting information in our referral paperwork listing a possible special need that we truthfully had no idea what it meant. Our agency was able to get us an update that said "she has no other special needs other than her cleft palate which has been corrected." We wrote our Letter of Intent (LOI) to adopt her that night & sent it to our agency the following day. With the update we received, we also got new pictures of her.
It's amazing to look back & see how much she's changed over the last year.
