I-800 Frustration

>
We hit a "snag" - for those of you out of the "know"...after you receive your LOA (approval letter that we all anxiously wait for) you then have to send an I-800 application to USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services). It takes around 10 or so days to get approved. We overnighted our form along with several other documents on 5/27. I spoke with our officer today and found out we were missing 2 important documents. Our agency is going to try to have these documents by tomorrow and then hopefully overnight them to us. I'm thinking this will push our approval back about a week.

On a good note, Chloe's new room is almost finished! Her new furniture came today. The only thing we have left to do is paint the walk-in door and also hang a closet door. We're considering putting up a beaded curtain instead?

Oh man, that is so frustrating!! Praying all gets "fixed" fast. I love the color of her room!! Just need that little girl in it!

I can feel your pain. It seems that we are on the same "time line" and same frustrations:( Hang in there...
