Sweet Summertime

Finally....sun is out, it's 90 degrees and we are LOVIN it!  Kids still have 6 days of school left (thanks to 4 snow days we had over the winter).  Baseball is in full swing - funny story...Coop had a game 30 min away.  We got to the ballpark & first words out of his mouth "Hey Dad....where's my cleats?"  Seriously?  Coop stayed with his team to warm up & we started back home.  We were making great time back when we met a county cop - oops.  Luckily, after telling him why we were in such a hurry he said "I'm in a good mood so I'll just give you a warning".  We get back to the ballpark with the cleats to find out that Coop had one at bat (in his flip flops) and also played the outfield.  His team ended up winning 19-9.  Being the first year of kid-pitch ball there are alot...I mean ALOT of walks.  Coop had 4 at bats - walked 3 times, struck out once. 

The kids had a blast playing outside in the water - they started out playing with Piper's water table, then moved on to the sprinkler, finishing up with the blow up pool
