"Yeah"

I have to put drops in Piper's ears - 5 drops twice a day for 7 days. She is so brave - she lays with her head on my lap & softly cries while I do the first ear & then turns over so I can do the other ear. Tonight, she didn't even cry! She has figured out what "go night night" means which does bring on the tears. We were sitting on her bed tonight - she was on my lap facing me. Here's our conversation:

Me: Are you my good girl?
Piper: (bottom lip starting to stick out) yeah...there (pointing out the door)
Me: Do you love Mama?
Piper: (lip out, tears forming) yeah...there (pointing out the door)
Me: give Mama loves
Piper hugged me, tears start rolling down her cheeks "there" (pointing out door)
Me: give Cooper kisses
Piper kissed Coop & then "there" pointing out the door
Me: It's time to go night night
Piper: "there" (pointing out door)
Me: See you in the morning (laying her in her bed)
Piper: yeah...there (still pointint out the door)

5 minutes later the crying had stopped & she was asleep. For a kid that still doesn't speak much English, it amazes me how well she understands it!

Thanks for the warning on the ear drops...I'm sure Ty will hate that! Ty also understands "Ny Ny" as he says, and he sticks out his lip. It breaks my heart!

I know what you mean about the drops! Out of the last 8 weeks Maylynn has been home - we've spent at least 6 of them doing drops...
