We made it through the first night - Piper slept from midnight until about 4:30 am, woke up & wanted to be held.  She fell back asleep & we had to wake her for breakfast aroun 7:30.  We did the Chinese part of the adoption today.  Justin & I filled out alot of paperwork, answered several questions & stamped our thumbprints over our signatures.  They used Piper's footprint as her signature.

We saw alot of her personality at breakfast this morning - she loves watermelon, rice, eggs, & yogurt.  She has been acting silly & thinks it's hilarious to drop her toy and see how many times Cooper will pick it up.  We met a family from Ohio that are adopting a beautiful 5 yr old girl and another family from New Jersey that have 1 adopted daughter (age 5) and their new daughter is a month younger but quite a bit bigger than Piper.

Kristi, I couldn't be happier for you. You are just beaming in those photos! Wow, what a great fit for your family. She's great, and I'm sure your other kids are just beaming like you are. Congrats!
